In the commercial arena of specialized transportation, warehousing, distribution and storage, and sophisticated moving services, Vector…a move ahead, Inc. has the reputation of being highly experienced, very professional, innovative, and careful, among other things. Vector knows the high demand for quality service and knowledge when dealing with sensitive, high value electronics and in dealing with your corporate customers.

Being a San Francisco service provider, we know the high demands of the commercial clientele and logistical challenges of the city. Our fleet of trucks is equipped with liftgates. Knowledge of site logistics and building requirements and restrictions Vector does very well in servicing the commercial market.

We recognize and respect the need to efficiently provide services with an absolute minimum of disruption to the businesses and operations going on simultaneously with our services.

We provide new product storage and warehouse distribution, inside pickups and deliveries, specialized packing and crating services, trade show product transportation to name a few.

Over the years, Vector has done very sophisticated transportation services. Some examples are:

• Most recently, moving electronics to and from the 2002 Winter Olympics, Salt Lake City, UT to Fremont, CA.
• Relocation of the 3000+ Oceanographic Core Sample Collection for the US Geological Survey in Menlo Park. This project required custom building of carts to hold/move the core samples. Refrigerated trucks were used to keep the samples at the required temperatures.
• Warehousing, storage and deliveries of all central switching equipment including the back up power systems for Pacific Bell Mobile Services to over 20 Pacific Bell switch sites in Northern California. Cranes anywhere from 12 - 33 ton and fixed crane services with inside placement was provided into these active switch buildings.
• Relocation of laboratories for various Federal Government & Agencies; The Lawrence Livermore Labs - US Department of Defense and US Department of Energy, The US Geological Survey, The US Food and Drug Administration.

Established in 1989, Vector Mayflower was the San Francisco Bay Areas premier mover of computers, copiers, lab equipment, medical and other Hi-tech equipment. These type of transportation services require specialized and unique handling and care. Vector Mayflower developed innovative ways of moving these sensitive products. The need for specialized electronic transportation diminished as the computer age evolved. Computers and other hi-tech equipment were no longer that problematic to move.
